It's a drama about a flight attendant (played by Dunst) and a troubled young man played by Orlando Bloom, so no surprises that the personal scrutiny of the two is off the charts. It doesn't help that Bloom is probably a male version of Dunst: young, hot and perhaps a little too pretty for his own good. Infuriatingly for Dunst, the speculation detracts from the fact that Elizabethtown is something of a personal validation. The film is being directed by Cameron Crowe with whom Dunst had previously crossed career paths when she was up for the groupie role in Almost Famous.
