Animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) has denied reports it wrote a letter to Orlando Bloom protesting about his treatment of his dog. A British newspaper today claimed the star was targeted after he left his dog Maude in his car while enjoying a meal with girlfriend Kate Bosworth.
But PETA insists no such letter was written and they are satisfied Bloom didn't mistreat his dog. Spokesperson Karen Chisholm says, "No one issued a letter to Orlando. We wouldn't, as the dog is being looked after. When you watch the video footage, you can see he was at the beach, moved his car to the shade and had someone looking after the dog. It is clear that he didn't leave the dog and forget about him."
