Helen, Hector's wife, Briseis, Paris, and others escape from Troy through a series of tunnels. It doesn't say where they go, they just escape. As far as I know Paris and Helen remain together. Paris and Helen are still in love and they leave with the others through the tunnels.
The film ends after Troy is done burning; it doesn't go into what happens after Troy in taken.
Paris' reaction to Hector's death is like in LOTR. Like when he sees Gandalf and Boromir die. He doesn't say anything, but you can see that it hurts him in his eyes.
After Hector's death, Paris does seem to realize what he has done. He becomes more confident in his fighting and takes things in his own hands. He becomes more brave.
Oh, and yes, Hector does kill Menelaus.
I hope that helps. Sorry it wasn't so clear.
Not really. There isn't much of Helen in the movie. There is the first scene when they are naked, when they are in the room where Paris has his robe on and you can see his chest (they kiss there), and they kiss when Paris is going to find Briseis (they say goodbye until later). Other than that, nothing really happens between them.
I had heard that the film is loosely based on the Iliad. The Goda are mentioned, but they are not characters in the movie, like they are in the Iliad. I haven't read the Iliad, so I don't know how well the movie portrayes the Iliad.
But, I still like it very much.

also people say that helen wanted to go back to sparta and that she tried to escape? but i would think since paris didn't exactly take her against her will then i would think she loves him. also what about the part in the trailer where she said their coming for me.
Everything that is in the trailers, is in the film now. They might change things, like so many do. But for now everything you have seen so far is in the movie.
What you see is what you WIll get, hopefully.
Well, a week ago, I saw Hidalgo in the theater (good movie by the way). I went to go buy some food and I saw a woman handing out flyers. She said it was for a sneak preview. So, I got a flyer and it had a description of the movie, but it didn't say what it was (other wise one will be biased toward the movie). It said to R.S.V.P., I did, it sadi to show up on the 10 @ 6, and I did and it happened to be Troy.
that's cool. did u have to pay?
No, I didn't it was free. . I was able to keep all my money.
Oh, yeah, the theater was full; there was no seat avaiable. I listened to everyones conversations (I know, I was evesdroping) and everyone said that it had to be Troy, they counldn't think of anything else.
If I were to rate Troy, I would rate it R. It's kind of on the border line of R and PG-13. If some scenes were taken out (i.e. Achilles and Briseis and some fighting ones), then it would probably be PG-13. But I don't think they are going to do much of anything with the scenes. THey just have to work on the special effects.
in troy js, why does helen try to escape?
First, she tries to go back to Menelaus because she thinks she can stop the war if she does, but Hector tells here that the Spartans will destroy Troy anyway.
Then she goes back to Paris and becomes his forever and escapes with him so that they won't die and the Spatans can't find them.
Sorry, there are no loves scenes.
Just a scene where, if the bed or he moved, then everything in thr front would be shown (I was hoping he would move, but he didn't ).
I was totally expecting a love scene too, but there wasn't one. Darn!

Aaaaa, whipped cream... chocolate... makes for some "fun" dreams.
Don't forgot, though we don't get to see Paris and Helen get down and dirty and !*$^%(%^ like animals, we do get to seem him n3kk1d! He's down to his birthday suit and looking hot! Man has definitely been working out.
You can say that again!
A Paris sundae would be mighty good right about now.
now that u have told everybody that u have seen troy everybody has been asking u stuff about, including me. sry. im just really in to it. and if its rated r i probably wont see it because of my parents. well i have one more thing to ask. when in the movie does paris say, "we will be together in this world or the next to helen." also are achilles and briesis in love? and what do they say to eachother when achilles is dying when paris shoots him? thanx
Well, when Paris says, "We will be together in this world or the next." is when Paris goes to find Briseis after leading Helen and Hector's wife to the tunnels.
Achilles and Briseis ARE in love.
Achilles doesn't say much to Briseis. He tells her to go and save herself, but he doesn't say that he loves her (but you can tell that he does) and Brisesi doesn't want to go. Paris tells her that they need to go and Briseis does. Achilles is nice enough to die after she leaves.
I still am looking forward to the film, eventhough I'vw already seen it. I just can't get enough of Orlando.
The necklace that Paris gives Helen is made out of shells (I think). It has long thin ones (maybe 1.5")with small round ones seperating them. The long ones don't go all the way around, there are maybe 8 or 10 of them. I'm not so sure about the neckalce because I wasn't concentraing on that part, i f you know what I mean.
Paris Sundaes! We all are going to imagine the cream and chocolate and cherries and strawberries at this point in the movie. I get more excited the nearer it gets. Counting down the days like this, better than waiting for christmas with your advent calender as a child. I'm also looking forward to Brad in this movie. Don't throw rocks at me girls! I think he looks better in Troy than I have ever seen him.
Just think, if we are all this bad now, just what is it going to belike on this thread a couple of days before the big event and actually after we've seen it!!
