The rumour with Uma started when he was outside his hotel in NYC and they were shooting some movie scene with her on the street in front of the hotel. Nobody was allowed to cross the street or pavement but had to stay where they were. So he stood there and watched the filming alongside other onlookers. Next day it was in the newspaper he's having an affair with Uma Thurman.
