我还是自己开这帖吧。
说了我有“翻译障碍症‘,就不管翻译了。只管找些夸开花在KOH里表现的文字贴来,谁高兴就译几段。
不找不知道,一去找,还真是不少呢!
Film Review (UK)

It looks terrific, it tries to deal with the complexities
of the periods faiths and cultures and the
performances, particularly from Orlando, Neeson
as his father, Norton behind the mask as Baldwin
and Syrian actor Ghassan Massoud as noble Saladin
are also particularly memorable.
SCOTLAND SUNDAY
Kingdom of Heaven does prove that Orlando Bloom
can carry a film. ------in Kingdom of Heaven he brings
an authority to his dramatic scenes and looks very
adept with a sword when it comes to the battles.
Hollywood Reporter
There are no false notes among the cast. Bloom
makes a worthy hero, neither overplaying his hand
nor striving to rob the movie of its ensemble quality.
Time Magazine
Eva Green, in the token-girl role every action epic
needs, has a classic movie star's beauty and allure,
and Bloom has matured splendidly (the beard helps).
He gives Balian heft and winsomeness as a pensive
man of action.
ReelViews
One could argue that this is Orlando Bloom's first
dramatically heavy role, as there's more heft to the
part than to his other well-known characters
(The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean,
Troy). His performance is better than adequate,
but a step below eye opening. He's a solid fit for
the part, and, while there are times when he seems
out of his league opposite Liam Neeson or Jeremy
Irons, for the most part he holds his own.
Metro newspaper
But Orlando Bloom also helped with that. A movie
succeeds or fails with the actor playing the leading role.
But Scott knew that he just couldn't be wrong with
Bloom. Bloom proves that he is still a very good actor.
When you put him next to Legolas from the lord of the
rings, it's hard to imagine that this is the same actor.
HeroRealm by Todd Masters
Acting is definitely first-rate with Orlando Bloom being
the brightest surprise. He carries the leading role
mantle well – along with an extra twenty pounds – as
he looks and acts the part of a knight. Between his
leadership and his gravity, it is a side of Mr. Bloom that
many doubted he could possess. Even scenes that
could have been over the top were presented well,
and expectations for him will definitely be high from
now on.
Co-ed Magazine By Sean McNulty
Orlando Bloom rebounds nicely from his role as a big
***** in last year's failed "shirtless" epic Troy, to
become the leading man that Hollywood knew he
could be.
EMPIRE MOVIES By Brendan Cullin
The cast is strong from top to bottom - Bloom,
Neeson, Marton Csokas (as Guy de Lusignan), Jeremy
Irons (as Tiberias), Brendan Gleeson (as Reynald),
Eva Green (as Sibylla) - they're all outstanding.
------Bloom is actually surprisingly good and respectable
in his lead role and plays the heroic simpleton quite
well.
The Charlotte Observer
Bloom finally comes into his own as a man here,
somberly thoughtful and melancholic. The elfin
archer of "The Lord of the Rings" and the trivial
boy-toy of "Troy" have been forgotten. He holds
his own against Irons, Neeson and Norton (who
seems to be channeling Marlon Brando behi[nd his
silver mask).
Cinema Blend
This is is a deep, thoughtful movie full of sterling
performances--and yes, I include Orlando Bloom
in that statement.
----
And so has Orlando Bloom. Some people might call
the performance weak, but I'd call it nuanced and
understated. And excellent. In fight scenes, he
commands the screen. His intensity is amazing.
(and I'm not talking just as the woman who wants
to wrestle with the man in a kiddie pool of sugar-free
lime jello--I'm being all kinds of serious.). The woman
next to me was in tears at the Rise a Knight speech.

MTV:
"Orlando Bloom, in particular, whose Balian is the clarifying
prism through which we view these complex events, gives
a performance of striking stillness and reserve; there's no
posturing in it. His eyes have a hooded intensity, a look of
penetrating observation, and he seems to contemplate every
word before speaking it. Indeed, some of the things he
refrains from saying, but somehow communicates nevertheless,
are as eloquent as those he does."
The Times (UK):
"The hero of the hour is Orlando Bloom, and he bursts on-screen
like a hand-crafted aristocrat from the pages of a vintage Mills &
Boon. He wears blowsy shirts, dusty britches and medieval
cowboy boots when he’s impressing the natives, and chain-mail
armour and a huge glistening broadsword when he’s chopping
them in half. He is fabulously uncomplicated, and effortlessly sexy.
He’s also grown up from juvenile swashbuckler to handsome and
earthy lead.
...Defending the hallowed city against the tidal wave of Saracens
— who march and grunt like hungry orcs — is, of course, meat
and drink for Bloom. His canny and preposterous arts of survival
will raise a sceptical eyebrow. But this is what star and director
do best: crazy odds, and bone-crunching visceral violence shot
with tremendous flair and style."
The Daily Telegraph:
"Orlando Bloom successfully makes the transition from spineless
adulterer to honourable warrior in Ridley Scotts epic crusade
saga, set during the 12th century. After seeing his weasely Paris
in Troy, i doubted whether the 28-year-old actor could carry a
film like Kingdom of Heaven, which tells the story of a blacksmith
who first becomes a knight and then a leader among men. He
seemed to slight and, well, effeminate. But unlike Colin farrells
not so good Alexander Bloom plays his part with quiet authority.
When an actor is playing against a backdrop as sweeping as this
one, he is wise not to compete. instead Bloom positions himself
as the eye of the religious storm raging around him - and thus
channels it's full force."
TIME:
"The attractive cast can sell an obsession or articulate a
conundrum with equal fervor...Bloom has matured
splendidly (the beard helps). He gives Balian heft and
winsomeness as a pensive man of action."
INQ7:
"This is by far Bloom's meatiest role and he invests a sense of
gravitas and thoughtfulness in what could easily have been
the cardboard cutout (also, curiously a blacksmith) he played
in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl." While
he stays miraculously well-lit throughout the movie, Bloom is
convincing as the photogenic embodiment of Scott's heroic
ideal....The combination of Scott's handiwork, Bloom's
swashbuckling and the intentional echoes of a conflict that
has survived centuries to vex peacemakers to this day
turns "Kingdom" into a rarity: a crowd-pleasing personal
statement from an accomplished director."
Courier Journal:
"Kingdom of Heaven is superbly cast, a trademark of a Scott film.
The big question was Bloom in his first major lead role. He's best
known for his fairly wispy turn as Legolas in "The Lord of the
Rings" films. But thanks to maturity and a few more pounds of
muscle, he successfully holds the film's center."
Sltrib:
"The Crusades epic "Kingdom of Heaven" is a brawny
movie, as you might expect from director Ridley Scott, the man
who gave us "Black Hawk Down" and "Gladiator." The surprise is
that star Orlando Bloom - who played an elf in "The Lord of the
Rings" trilogy and the weenier of the brothers in "Troy" - gives a
performance sufficiently muscular to carry it."
Canada.com:
"Bloom, all of 28, becomes more of a model
of a leading man with every role."
East Valley Tribune:
" Surprisingly, Bloom's boyish handsomeness and Balian's
troubled psyche never disrupteach other in “Kingdom of
Heaven.” This is Bloom's most credibly manly work, though
one occasionally wonders how Balian evolved from simple
blacksmith to brilliant military tctician overnight."
Weekly Dig:
"Dashing Balian (an impressively well-balanced performance by
Orlando Bloom) is a poor blacksmith consumed with rage and
grief at the death of his son and his wife's subsequent suicide."
Ohio.com:
"Scott also helps to answer the question that is on the minds of
many stargazers -- can Bloom carry a film minus his Lord of the
Rings buddies? The answer is an undeniable yes. He's both
convincing and effective as Balian."
Cleveland.com:
"Orlando Bloom, late of the elvish lands in the "Lord of the Rings"
movies, grows up before our eyes to become an action star.
Gone is the lithe young man with a smile in his eyes; now Bloom
gives us a character who has known suffering and pain and is on
the cusp of manhood."
[Nola:
"British actor Bloom, who previously swashbuckled his way through
the "Lord of the Rings" movies, "Pirates of the Caribbean: The
Curse of the Black Pearl" and "Troy," evinces a maturity in "Kingdom
of Heaven" that he's never before shown. He proves that he truly
can carry a picture on his newly broadened shoulders."
Belfast Telegraph:
"Anyway, to the action - and after playing the sidekick for so long,
Orlando Bloom gets the chance to shine in the leading man role.
Not that you'd actually know it's Orlando Bloom. Gone is the
smooth-faced pointy eared Legolas from Lord of the Rings and in
his place comes a swarthy, rugged, brooding heart-throb, much
along the lines of his Rings co-star Viggo Mortensen."
Washington Post:
"Is Orlando Bloom enough of a star to sustain a $100 million
costume drama? The answer turns out to be yes. A pretty
face as Paris in "Troy" and a blond nonentity as the
arrow-flinger in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, he is able to
dominate the second half of this film in the old-fashioned
movie-star way. Scott is smart enough to dirty the young
man's face and let his beard blur the freak perfection of his
features, which gives this Balian a more masculine, more
commanding presence. Bloom fights his own fights and reveals
an athlete's quick grace and strength with the broadsword,
so that as a warrior he's convincing. As a thinker and diplomat
he's also impressive. As a late-borning humanitarian idealist he
will break your heart, een if you despise his and the movie's
politics."

有点乱了,可能有重复的。
Latino Review
Balian is played by whispering heartthrob Orlando Bloom
whose rapid rise to fame appears undeserved, yet time
has revealed his growth as an actor. This film is Bloom's
first starring role and even though he has difficulty
shaking his nice guy sensitive image, his dramatic growth
it's clearly evident onscreen.
The Davis Enterprise
Indeed, Bloom's Balian is almost too good to be true: a
man whose quietly righteous pronouncements might
seem the stuff of purple melodrama, were it not for the
actor's frankly angelic presence. Bloom has a gift for
blending spiritual enlightenment with a warrior's talent
for coldly calculated mayhem; he was, after all, a perfect
choice as Legolas in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
DC Military
I enjoyed the movie. Those who say Orlando Bloom isn't
worthy of leading man status need only see this picture
fo their minds to be changed. Bloom is not the roguish,
arrow-flinging elf we saw in "The Lord of the Rings"
trilogy. He is also not the clumsy blacksmith opposite
Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean" nor the little
boy turned kidnapper, Prince Paris, in "Troy." Bloom
commands the screen and shows moviegoers he really is
the Lord of Ibelin and the defender of Jerusalem.
Nowhere is this more evident than during the Battle of
Jerusalem. I'm not going into particulars, but believe me,
Bloom deserves a better fate than what public opinion
has said of him and his "boyish looks."
ZWire
In this particular role, Bloom is no longer inhibited by
awkward subordinate positions as he was in the Lord of
the Rings trilogy and Pirates of the Caribbean. Rather,
he commands a surprising level of confidence and
exhibits a strong on-screen presence.
Leonard Maltin
The youngest of the film’s key collaborators is 28-year-old
Orlando Bloom, whose leap to overnight fame in The Lord
of the Rings trilogy unwittingly set him on a course of
costume drama that continued, to public acclaim, in Pirates
of the Caribbean. Bloom embodies a nobility that belies his
age, and carries the weight of his role here—as an ordinary
man who becomes a leader—with aplomb and conviction.
Gulf Daily News
Kingdom of Heaven is an epic adventure about a common
man, Balian (excellently played by British actor Orlando
Bloom), who finds himself thrust into a decades-long war.
Suipan Tribune
The one area in which Kingdom of Heaven holds up
to the comparison is in the acting department.
Orlando Bloom has a commanding screen presence,
and he easily gains sympathy for his character. If only
he had a better script to work with, and if only the terrific
Liam Neeson (as his father) was given more screen time
Kenai Peninsular Online
Not only does Scott work with a superb script here, he
works with top-notch actors, not a one of whom is
slumming. Orlando Bloom, excellent in his first starring role,
proves that he is more than up to the task at hand.
This is local London
“Bloom doesn't have the searing charisma of, say, Russell
Crowe's Maximus (those all-important inspirational speeches
aren't terribly inspiring), but he's surprisingly good,
graduating successfully from his more lightweight roles.”
就这些了,谁还有别的可要添上来呵!

"He was a Hollywood A-lister without the A-lister's arrogance. he was impossibly famous, yet possessed the humility of a man who understands that fame can leave as quickly as it arrives. He knew that if he played his cards right, he would soon be rich beyond the dreams of avarice; but money was never the reason why he got into the game in the first place. Orlando Bloom was just doing what he loved."

Sidcity.net has posted a Q&A session with Alexander
Siddiq where he talked about working with Ridley Scott
and his co-stars in Kingdom of Heaven
Moving on to his co-star, Sid had only good things to say
about Orlando as a professional and as a person. He
complimented Orlando’s grace under pressure, calling him
“an extraordinary young man” and a “sweetheart.” Sid
was impressed with the way Orlando interacted with his
fans, the “hordes of young girls who were everywhere
we went in Spain, cordoned off with police standing
guard.” Orlando would take the time to go over and say
hello and sign a few things, no matter where they were.
Sid referred to Orlando as “the biggest star of his generation
and only going to get bigger.” He closed his commentary
by saying that Orlando is “sweet and worth adoring.”

If you saw the great epic fantasy trilogy "The Lord of the Rings", you would remember him, Orlando Bloom, the handsome elf prince, slender, with elegant features and adequate fighting-skills to match. In the movie, he is only one among many green leaves that support the main character and decorate the story with life and humor. Yet many times he outshines the others, not just because his outstanding looks, but he portraits the elf prince with such dignity and grace that one might think he indeed is an immortal being who walks out of a fairy tale. His acting skills make the character believable and he fits into the part perfectly. (Thanks to the casting director, originally he screen tested for another part, but the director thought he would be more suitable to play the part of Legolas.) He was in his early twenties when he took upon the roll in that great production and the film made him a star overnight.
Someone may say that he is just lucky, getting the part and gaining international notice at such young age. Yet if you carefully exam his acting improvement throughout the film you would understand that his success is not an accident, he works hard to get to the point of where he is now, and it involves great personal sacrifice and agony that one can hardly imagine. He is a young man with an unusual childhood and a big dream of becoming a Superman one-day. At a very tender age he already sets up his goal, to become a performer, bring laughter and beauty into people's lives. Yet his dream near shattered when he suffered a fall from a three-story building. The doctor told him that he may never walk again, but luck smiled on him, after several successful operations, he walked out of the hospital on his own. Life is like magic, you live and learn and be rewarded. Each time he suffered a personal setback, he would review what he had done, and try not to make the same mistake again.
Compare to other stars of his age and level, he seems to be more settled and thoughtful. There is a rare kind of purity in him, polite, loving and gentle, and when he speaks nowadays, maturity shines through him like a ray of light piercing through the gathering clouds. He is a very low-key person, enjoys learning from others and tries to live an honest life whenever possible and he treats people with respect and care. Despite his good looks, sexy is not the right word that best suits him, at least in my opinion. For the talented young man is much more than what you see on the outside, his humanity, passion for nature, animals, and love and care towards another human being make him real and admirable. He is like a neighborhood kid whom you can talk to, like a brother that you can trust and depend on. He is not an elf but a man who is true to himself, and has much to offer to the world.
